The two words I’ve used time and time again to gain access to some of the brightest minds in my industry are simply these – “interview request.” That phrase makes up the subject line to every request I make of someone I would like to interview for my podcast and it’s probably one of the most effective tools I employ.

Hosting your very own radiolike show is probably one of fastest ways to increase your expert status and gain backstage passes to the biggest names in your industry.

The Evolving Role Of The Sales Professional—The Sales Person As Diagnostician

We all know the role of sales professionals is changing.  The sales person used to be an important channel to educating and informing customers about products and services.  The wide availability of information on the internet changes this–though it doesn’t eliminate this.  Most customers are more informed about products and services.  They do their homework, searching the internet, leveraging the opinions of others to select a few alternatives they will consider.  What does this mean for sales professionals and their evolving role?

I have only been in sales for a few years so I'm not sure how the role is evolving. It's all about personal styles and what sales pros are comfortable with. Those who are prepared will be in a greater position for increased sales and a stronger relationship with clients.

At least I hope that's the case.
